Rhinebeck is this weekend and I will not be there. I am not happy about it but I really don't have a choice. It's not even about the shopping, it's about seeing friends, the animals, and a little bit about the yarn and crafts. I have always bought things that I couldn't buy at a store or online. I like supporting the mom and pop farms. They are some of the nicest people.
So instead I'm attending in spirit. This weekend everything is on hold and I will be working with previous Rhinebeck purchases.
First up is my friend's yarn. She dyed this just for Rhinebeck 2011 and since I'll miss her the most I am starting with it.

My "Dirty" Mittens

R rated dirty not having to be washed dirty. I mean even Rudolph had to have fun once in a while right. I am thinking maybe a g rated hat since it looks like I have enough yarn left. (Hint don't look to close and you'll see the picture)

Onward to my favorite part

Of quilt making. Hand sewing the binding down. It's something easy to do while watching tv. Go Red Sox!! (Sometimes autocorrect and being tired do not mix)

Next forgotten project

I seem to be in this rut of finishing WIPs that have
been laying around. I guess it's not a bad thing.
Anyway next on the almost finished list are my
mittens

New scarf

I am part of a group on Ravelry and it's all about using stash. This scarf was used using one odd ball of yarn. It was bought in a yarn store where I used to live and my mommy bought it for me. I used the whole ball except that little piece of green that is all that is left. Now it just needs to be blocked.
